Just reporting a couple of real success stories...........
1. Thank you so much to the Auckland members who helped these members out when their exchange plans were disrupted by illness
Hi Valerie and John,Thank you so much for your help in finding a place in NZ at such short notice. We had a couple phone us yesterday from NZ and we have arranged an exchange today with them for the whole time. We have been so impressed with the some of the helpful emails we received. Their certainly is a "good vibe" among Homelink members and we are glad to be on the receiving end of it at this time. Once again Thank youregards Linda and Alan Trewern
2. One of our long time members had a yearning to go to Queensland at very short notice. He had sent a few requests but to no avail. HomeLink Australia stepped with a request to members and within 24 hours he had 30 offers and was spoilt for choice.
I am not suggesting that this is the way to go but merely that the exchanges are out there and its just a matter putting in the time to send out requests. Many of these Members would probably have not indicated a desire to come to NZ but were probably advertising 'Open to offers'. Don't forget 'Open to offers'
CANADIAN REQUEST
I have a request from Jack Graber our Canadian Organiser. Details below:- These members would like an exchange anywhere in NZ. I suspect that because they are not advertising NSX that peole are put off. Why not ask them if a NSX exchange is possible. If you are a skier it could suit you well !

I don't mean to be grumpy but there are still 20 of you without photos on your listings. Because NZ has a small membership overseas members will often bring up the country maps and go through the list. It is plain to see if there is no photo and you could well be ignored because of this. Just send them to me if you can't load them yourself Even more about photos.............
If your home is plain but you have a splendid view then use the splendid view as the main photo. You can have 20 photos so choose the best you don't have to just show the inside of your house. I always have a chuckle when I see the main photo is a double bed !!
