If you are exchanging a car, in order to avoid any misunderstanding between you and your exchange partner then you need to fill in a car exchange agreement form.
If you choose too use this form instead of the electronic form then you should fill in your side of the form print it off and mail it to your exchange partner for them to fill in details of their car.
Keep a copy for yourself. If in the rare event of a problem occuring with the exchange then this form will provide useful information.

Further more, the guest driver agrees to reimburse the vehicle owner for the loss of any 'no claim bonus' applicable or agree to pay outright for any repairs required as the result for an accident. I also agree to pay for any parking or other fines incurred

NB. We strongly advise members to make a note of any damage (scratches etc.) which may be present on your vehicle and point tnem out to your exchange partner prior to their using your car. A photo is a good idea and proof positive ! Always read the fine print in your insurance form and make sure you have the corrrect information regarding excesses. If in doubt ring your insurance company.
It is assumed that your car will be clean on the handover to the guest driver and on the return to the owner.
Please make sure that your guest driver knows where the registration documents are and who to contact in the case of an emergency
