TRAVEL DISRUPTIONS

We hope that not too many of your were caught up in the recent disruptions in Europe.  We have only heard of one member who was in fact due to fly to Iceland around that time.  Not sure if she ever got there.  It certainly made us start to have some concern for our holiday which is now 1 week away.

CLASSIFIED ADS.

We are a bit mystified that we have had a relatively poor response to our Classified ads. project.  Personally we would love someone to offer us some FREE  advertising for our business.  Our colleague in Canada has been overwhelmed with response from his members.

Just let me have the URL for your business and I will post it on the page.  You never know how many fellow members will buy your products or services!

CAR EXCHANGE HINTS

You will  have filled in the Car Exchange Agreement form so that all the details are clearly understood by both parties.  Here is an additional item for your list.

Before the exchange takes place it is a good idea to photograph the car. If your car is like mine it does not stay in pristine condition for long.  A photograph will show any dents and dings which your exchange partner may worry happened while they were in charge..  It pays to point them out as well prior to the hand over !

<HOT LIST>
Dear Members

John & I will be away in Europe from 18th May until 23rd July.  We take HLNZ with us on our laptop, but will be out of phone contact during this time.  We apologise if there is any delay in answering emails during this time

MAJOR SERVER UPGRADES COMPLETED

Since our initial server switchover on 13th April you will have noticed numerous changes in Content, Structure and Format.

We want to thank you for your patience and your willingness to notify us when you had confusion or spotted errors in your listing

c) You can have unlimited destinations within each date period
d) You can have a different duration for each date set
e) You can now list the region you wish to visit
f)  Searches are more accurate and make it easier to find the right match
g) You can of course still advertise 'Anytime'

c) New Zealand is the default setting in (Your country)
d) More information easily available to pages about you - the logged in member- making it easier to customise page content to your requirements.

NB.  Don't worry if you perceive some of this a technical jargon.  It just means we are endeavouring to makes things easier.  If you read the instructions then you should  have no problems.
OUTRAGEOUS PRICES FOR RWC ACCOMMODATION

You will all have seen the headlines on this subject.  An irate woman in the UK was expected  to pay $1600 dollars per night in Auckland.

One of our members responded with an alternate option - Home Exchanging

We hope to drum up some more interest in Rugby supporters when we are in Italy
