What our members say

Many of our members perceive HomeLink as a club and have been with us for a long time, some before John & I took over HomeLink in 2000. Home Exchanging has become a way of life with them which reflects in our renewal rate which is consistantly around 60% We do little in the way of advertising but with the enthusiasm of our members spreading the word membership has increased fourfold since 2000. We love to get their feed back and would like to share some of these with you

Greetings Valerie and John,
As new members, we have just completed our first exchange of 7 weeks in Spain.
It was a great experience, from the time we arrived at Malaga Airport and found that the taxi drivers could not speak English - but with a lot of laughs and sign language we managed to find our apartment, to having to choose groceries in the supermarket with pictures on them so we knew what we were eating.
Learning to drive on the other side of the road and trying to understand the road signs was another experience one will not forget.
All in all one could not have wished for a better holiday.
We came back home to a lovely clean house, no damage and a small gift awaiting us.
We are now planning our next exchange.

I would just like to thank you for the great service you provide we only joined this year and have already managed home exchanges for 14 weeks towards the end of 2008 which will be a great experience. Without the exchange we would have probably only managed 5 weeks financially and that would have been dearer the 14 weeks we have now.
I also think that the people using homelink are a special kind of "breed" incredibly helpful and friendly a real pleasure to deal with.
I try to introduce everybody I know on the island to you service and hope we have many more holidays using it.

Thanks for this service, we are back from Europe with Two excellent house and car swaps. One in south Of France and one in Rome. what a great service you have. It made our 6 weeks away very affordable,

We are travelling at the moment (4 1/2 months mainly in France) We spent a month in Paris, now have 3 weeks in Arles, Provence, then a month in Corsica then a month in Nice then to Venice for 3 weeks. All exchanges except Paris. Having an extraordinary time!

We are off to Vancouver and Kelowna in 4 weeks time, have already done the non simult swap with them both. The Vancouver swap is a repeat having done a swap with our now
friends in 2002. I just love Homelink. We could never
have done the travel we have without it and we have met some really lovely people. (I know u know all this already!)

It just constantly amazes me why more people don't do these types of holiday……After our 6 week, 3 exchange holiday in the west coast of the US in 2007 we did 'convert ' 3 neighbours/friends to join up. One family did have a very nice holiday this summer the other 2 didn't quite get down to working at it properly yet.

Great idea, Hospitality Offered. Just come back from a month's exchange up in Canada (wonderful as always) and had a three night stop in Vancouver on our way to our destination and it would have been nice to have spent it with a 'native'.
